Chief Property Officer – Skyfields by Perth Airport

With over two decades of leadership experience in the property sector, I’ve had the privilege of working across property development, valuation, and funds management, including leading landmark projects like the Ritz-Carlton and the Towers at Elizabeth Quay. Today, I serve as Chief Property Officer at Skyfields by Perth Airport, bringing both a commercial and human lens to how we shape spaces that matter.

At Kai-Fella, I bring my full self, my business experience, my lived experience with mental health, and most importantly, my heart as a dad of three incredible boys. I’ve seen firsthand the gaps in our mental health system. It’s not about blame, it’s about stepping up. Mental health is the defining issue of our generation, and those of us in a position to help, should.

The Kai-Fell board is a family. Like all families, we don’t always agree—but our disagreements are brave, and they’re built on love for our cause. I believe in creating space for courageous conversations, empathy, and practical action. Helping build a “third space” for youth—a place where young people can find their voice, support each other, and shape a stronger society—is a purpose I’m proud to stand behind.

Outside of work, I’m a drummer, surfer, junior basketball coach, and loyal Carlton Blues supporter. I live in Scarborough and find joy in the ocean with my kids. I once completed the BB300 with no riding experience or training—proof that action, not perfection, moves us forward.

If I could speak to my teenage self and the young people we’re here to support I’d say this:

  1. Everyone has a mental health story.
  2. You are not alone, and you are loved.
  3. No one is better than you, and you’re no better than anyone else—but your purpose and your actions will define you.
