Karen Burnett, Board Member
My involvement with Kai Fella was driven by watching Kai struggle with mental illness, the desire to Commemorate him and prevent any other lives being impacted by Mental ill-health.
I wanted to be part of a movement to raise awareness of the stigma of mental illness in our communities, and provide young men and women with strategies to make their way through life.
I am a mother of two adult daughters, a registered nurse, and for the past 25 yrs been employed in the medical device industry, in which I have held various positions including, business development, national training, and Biosurgery Specialist.
I enjoy Hobbies such as Resin Art and candle making, looking after my health with Pilates and walking, and catching up with family and friends.
