Workshop for girls
Empowering Voices
Empowering our youth to find their voice and live courageously
Our workshops provide young people the chance to challenge stereotypes, change culture and take responsibility for their impact on each other and the world.
We focus on practical and solution-oriented skills they can use to improve the way they treat themselves, each other and the people they care about.
Our vision is that young people across WA are equipped with the ability to find their voice and be courageous during life’s most challenging moments.
For Girls
Empowering Voices Workshop
Overview
In this workshop, we create an environment for young women to talk about their experiences of being women in the world today, swallowing their thoughts and feelings, and how that affects mental health over time.
This workshop empowers young women to be able to recognise their own strengths and full range of emotions, and understand why that can be difficult.
It’s a chance to practice doing that for themselves and others using empathy, understanding and self care.
